Design Service

Landpoetry Creations is the concept of Lewis Coleman, who specializes in residential landscape design and planning, creating personalized environments that enrich quality of life.  Located in Houston, Texas, his design service maintains an ethic of sustainability that respects the client.  Advocating ‘green’ practices, organic techniques, and regionally appropriate planting, he creates harmony between a client’s needs, the built landscape, and the local context.

Ethic

"By working with clients, and by understanding the spirit of the site, we are better attuned to create exterior environments that are pleasing, harmonious, and complementary of outdoor lifestyle.   The client’s input is an integral part of the design process, as the final product must meet the client’s needs.  Additionally, in creating a place, we must be mindful of the context. The ideal design satisfies the client’s requirements while responding to and resonating with the locale."

The very concept of Landpoetry Creations is deeply rooted in history and classic design.  Its principles embody an ethic of balance and respect for the users' needs, the locale, and the creation of place.
